Trust is the cornerstone of Tobacconist credibility.  Trust is earned through honest and diligent efforts, not once, but consistently, over time.  In general, consumers are wary of advice, opinions, and salespeople.  Tobacconists earn the Trust of consumers one cigar or pipe recommendation at a time.  Eventually, Trust will emerge and be the irrevocable glue that bonds one aficionado to another.


Treat fellow customers, vendors, and Tobacconists with respect, fairness, and good faith.  Advocate values and conditions that safeguard the rights and welfare of all consumers to ensure that Tobacconist honor is always upheld.

 

A CCT must be exemplary in the care and conditioning of their own luxury tobacco products.  If not you, then who?  The CCT responsibility to honor and preserve luxury tobacco is not limited to private collections.  CCT cannot stand idly by while cigars are disheveled or handled harshly in their retailer’s humidor.  A Certified Tobacconist’s appreciation for the efforts required to make a great cigar compels our duty to nurture all luxury tobacco products.
