Every other sinful pleasure from drinking to tanning has a place they can go where others will not go to if they are not seeking out their services and products. Cigar bars and lounges are somehow treated differntly and its not fair that cigar smoking should be singled out when tanning and bars are just a guilty of creating public health issues.

Unfortunately tobacco seems to be the scapegoat for politicians that do not know how to balance a budget or spend the People's money properly. These taxes do not work when it comes to raising money to close budget gaps or to raise money. In fact they cause more harm then they intend to make right. These taxes increase black market activity, make the poor poorer and are an unsustainable revenue source because people will quit or go out of state for their tobacco or elsewhere. The real problem is that politicians do not want the money or to balance a budget, they want to control you and your choices because they truly believe that you do not have the ability to make decisions for yourself. This boils down to meaning that Freedom is not the goal for the individual, but instead that government is the answer for the masses. Thank you CRA for trying to stop this.

My favorite coffee shop was shut down because it was a place to smoke with friends. I'm in Arizona and it's nice to have a place to get out of the heat, enjoy an iced coffee and a cigarette. Can't people just not go in or not work there. I have to deal with morons all day at my work. Isn't stress the leading cause of cancer?

Removing our rights to smoke is against everything our country stands for. It is our right to enjoy this past time whether there are negative consequences to it or not. There is no harm brought other people in enjoying a cigar. The fact that a "cigar bar" had to stop allowing people to smoke indoors makes no sense what so ever. These laws are destroying valid businesses and putting several good Americans out of work. This injustice needs to stop.
